Alphinaud asks for your assistance in recruiting new members for his proposed organization, which is intended to be a precursor to a border-spanning Grand Company.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Guardian of Eorzea.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in the Rising Stones in Revenant's Toll in Mor Dhona to begin the quest.

Speak with Alphinaud

Go to Limsa Lominsa, and go east from the Aetheryte Plaza to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Alphinaud to proceed.

Scout for Potential Recruits

You can speak to the recruits in any order. For example, use an Aetheryte to go to the Marauders' Guild, and enter the guild building to talk to Reyner.

Then go south into the Seventh Sage building, and go up the stairs on the left, and go through the door and talk to Carvallain.

Go back into the Seventh Sage building, go down the stairs, and go north again to the Marauders' Guild aetheryte. Use it to go to the Aftcastle aetheryte, and go south up the stairs, then go east into the Missing Member pub. Talk to Rhoswen.

Exit the Missing Member pub, then go southwest to the guild hall of the Armorers' and Blacksmiths' guilds, and talk to H'naanza.

Finally, go counterclockwise along the walkway, then go north into the Hyaline building, and go down the stairs on the left, and go west to exit the building. Then go southwest to reach the final quest icon on the map. Talk to Riol, the former member of the Company of Heroes who gave you key information for defeating Titan.

Speak with Alphinaud at the Airship Landing

Make your way east to the Aftcastle aetheryte and use it to go to the Airship Landing (or if you still haven't attuned to all of the aetherytes in Limsa Lominsa, go north from the Aftcastle aetheryte and talk to Skaenrael the Lift Attendant to go to the Airship Landing).

Talk to Alphinaud there to proceed.

Speak with Alphinaud at Nophica's Altar

Go to Gridania and use an aetheryte to go to the Conjurers' Guild. Talk to Alphinaud nearby.

Scout for Potential Recruits in Old Gridania

You can speak to the recruits in any order. For example, use the nearby aetheryte to go to the Mih Khetto Amphitheatre aetheryte, and go southeast to talk to Laurentius, whom you helped apprehend when he was caught aiding the Empire during his tenure as a Wood Wailer.

Go north through the narrow passageway to the northern part of the area, then go northeast to find Alianne, whom you may have seen outside of the Copperbell Mines just before you entered it.

Go northeast and talk to Ursandel, who exposed his mistress's wrongdoing in Haukke Manor.

Then go east and talk to Ceinguled, who assisted in the investigation that led you to Haukke Manor.

Speak with Alphinaud at the Airship Landing in Gridania

Use the nearby aetheryte to go to the Airship Landing (or if you still haven't attuned to all of the aetherytes in Gridania, go south to New Gridania, and go southwest from there to the Carline Canopy, and go down the stairs to the airship landing).

Talk to Alphinaud there to proceed.

Speak with Alphinaud at the Royal Promenade

If you have unlocked the Gold Saucer, you can talk to Lionnellais the airship ticketer to go to the Gold Saucer (it's free), then talk to the Airship Ticketer there to go to Ul'dah (it's free). From the Ul'dah Airship Landing, go north and talk to Nanahomi the Lift Attendant to go to the Hustings Strip, and then go to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap.

Otherwise, in Ul'dah, use an aetheryte to go to the Chamber of Rule, and then go to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap.

Talk to Alphinaud to proceed.

Scout for Potential Recruits on the Steps of Thal

You can speak to the recruits in any order. For example, use the nearest aetheryte to go to the Sapphire Avenue Exchange aetheryte, and talk to Syntgoht nearby. (He may also have a blue quest that you can do to unlock desynthesis, which allows you to turn gear into raw materials.)

Then go southwest into Pearl Lane and talk to Landebert.

Use the nearby aetheryte to go to the Weavers' Guild. Go southeast into the guild area and talk to Yellow Moon.

Go northwest, then turn left at the aetheryte and talk to Ourcen, who is from the Church of Adama Landama and provided assistance in the investigation that led to your battle with Ifrit.

Then go west to the aetheryte and use it to go to the Gladiators' Guild. Go northwest and talk to Wilred, the erstwhile leader of the youths of Little Ala Mhigo.

Speak with Alphinaud at the Royal Promenade Again

Go southeast to the aetheryte and use it to go to the Chamber of Rule, and go to the quest icon on the map. Talk to Alphinaud. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Alphinaud at the Rising Stones

Go to Revenant's Toll in Mor Dhona and go into the Rising Stones. Enter the Solar and talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.
