A traitor may be leading the Garleans through the area, and Buscarron suspects a customer who recently came into money.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Sylphish Concerns.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Buscarron in the South Shroud to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Laurentius

There is a large tree south of Buscarron's Druthers. Go to the south side of that tree to find Laurentius. Talk to him.

Then go east to find him examining some crates. Talk to him again. Defeat the 3rd Cohort Eques that attacks.

Talk to Laurentius again, then go east, and turn south to go up the slope. You will find Laurentius to the east of the hollow log. There will be a glow around him, indicating an instanced battle. Check on him and there will be a cutscene, and then the battle will ensue.

Solo Duty: Nouveau Riche

It is recommended to defeat the enemies in the following order:

• The three Bestiarius
• Imaginifier
• Bestiarius
• Funditor
• Decurion, but switch to the Imaginifier, Bestiarius, and Funditor that appear, and defeat them before resuming attacks on the Decurion
• Laurentius

Report to Buscarron

Go west to Buscarron's Druthers and talk to Buscarron.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, you will need to be at least level 24 to proceed to the next quest. After you reach level 24, talk to Buscarron to accept the next quest: Into the Beast's Maw. There will be a cutscene.
