You set out to reach Matoya's well-hidden cave in the Answering Quarter of the Dravanian Hinterlands.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Leaving Idyllshire, and have reached level 59.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Y'shtola in Idyllshire to begin the quest.

Speak with Y'shtola

Go southwest to leave Idyllshire. Go south to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Y'shtola to proceed.

Examine the Wall

Go south to the quest icon on the map and check on the purple Icy Wall. Defeat the three Poroggo Mouthtraps that attack.

Speak with Y'shtola Again

Go north to the quest icon on the map and talk to Y'shtola to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Aether Current Quest

With the completion of this quest, you can now start the blue quest "Saro Roggo's Common Life" in Matoya's cave. Completing that quest will attune you to an Aether Current in the Dravanian Hinterlands.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Matoya to accept the next quest: Forbidden Knowledge. There will be a cutscene.
