This page explains how to complete the level 80 post-Shadowbringers quest "Like Master, Like Pupil".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Forget Us Not.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Y'shtola in Limsa Lominsa to begin the quest.

Speak with Y'shtola in the Ruling Quarter

Teleport to Idyllshire, then use the Aetheryte to go to the Prologue Gate (Western Hinterlands). Go south to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Y'shtola to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Matoya

Talk to Matoya to proceed.

Speak with Puro Roggo in the Makers' Quarter

Go north and check on the Cave Exit, then say Yes to go outside. Go northeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Puro Roggo to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Matoya's Relict

Use the Duty Finder to enter Matoya's Relict. Please see the Matoya's Relict Guide for a walkthrough.

After you complete the duty in Matoya's Relict and exit the area, there will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alphinaud

Talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Alphinaud to accept the next quest: The Admiral's Resolve.
