Starting the Quest

Talk to Tataru in the Ruby Bazaar in Kugane to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Search Kugane for the Overworked Porter

Check on the exit to leave the room, then go west to go outside. Use the nearby Aethernet Shard to go to the Rakuza District. Go north from the Aethernet Shard, then west to the northeast edge of the orange circle to find the Overworked Porter. Talk to him to hand over the Lilac-scented Love Letter.

Deliver Cid's Parcel

Go east and then south to reach the Aethernet Shard. Use it to go to the Ruby Bazaar. Go up the stairs and into the building, and talk to the East Aldenard Trading Company Aide. Say Yes to proceed, then talk to Tataru to hand over Cid's Parcel. There will be a cutscene.

Deliver the Magitek Field Generator Manual

Teleport back to the House of the Fierce in Yanxia. Go west to the quest icon on the map and talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Alphinaud to accept the next quest: Seeds of Despair.
