History Repeating - Quest Guide

Davyd tells you that Mimidoa has arrived and is expecting to meet with you.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Sweet Somethings.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Davyd in the Isles of Imbra (accessible via the Ferry Skipper in Aleport in Western La Noscea) to begin the quest.

Speak with Mimidoa

Go north from Davyd and talk to Mimidoa.

Follow Mimidoa to the Ship Graveyard

Go south to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap.

Wait by the Campfire

Go south to the campfire. There will be a glow around it, indicating an instanced battle. Check on it and there will be a cutscene, and then the battle will ensue.

Solo Duty: History Repeating

You don't need to use the earplugs; they are automatically in effect. There will be multiple waves of enemies, with some delays between each group while the Siren sings.

First Wave

Kill the enemies in the following order.

  1. Charmed Boatswain
  2. 2x Charmed Gromets

Second Wave

Kill the enemies in the following order.

  1. Charmed Lodesman
  2. Charmed Boatswain
  3. Charmed Gromet

Third Wave

Kill the enemies in the following order.

  1. 2x Charmed Falmadairs
  2. Charmed Botswain
  3. Charmed Gromet

Fourth Wave

Untargetable bubbles will appear. Some will spin around the area, and some will slowly float toward you. If they explode near you, they will hit you with Bubble Burst.

Kill the enemies in the following order.

  1. Charmed Lodesman
  2. Charmed Boatswain
  3. Charmed Gromet

Final Wave

Kill the enemies in the following order.

  1. Charmed Lodesman
  2. Charmed Boatswain
  3. Charmed Captain

Speak with Mimidoa Again

Talk to Mimidoa to proceed.

Speak with Davyd

Go north and talk to Davyd to proceed.

Show the Corrupted Crystal to Ceana

Go north and talk to the Ferry Skipper to return to Aleport. Then go north and talk to Ceana to hand over the heavy warded pot and complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, you will need to be at least level 43 to proceed to the next quest. After you reach level 43, talk to Ceana to accept the next quest: The Curious Case of Giggity.
