With the grand melee complete, Aymeric leads the way back into Ishgard.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest A Spectacle for the Ages.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Aymeric in the Coerthas Central Highlands to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alphinaud

Talk to Alphinaud to proceed.

Speak with Artoirel

Go northeast and use the Brume Aethernet Shard to go to the Skysteel Manufactory Aethernet Shard. Go northwest to the small stairway, then go clockwise around the Skysteel Manufactory building. Go through the barred gate and continue northwest to reach the Coerthas Western Highlands. Go north to the quest icon on the map and talk to Artoirel.

Speak with Alphinaud Again

Talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room. (Main Scenario 1 > Dragonsong Main Scenario Quests > For Those We Can Yet Save > Cutscenes 2 and 3.)
