Iceheart has made good her escape, and you are left to ponder the question of Shiva's summoning, while tracking down the escaped heretics.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest The Path of the Righteous.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in the Coerthas Central Highlands to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Yuyuhase

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Yuyuhase to proceed.

Pursue the Heretics

Go east to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Speak to the 3rd Unit Brave to proceed.

Search for the Heretics

Go south to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Check on the sparkling Fresh Prints.

Follow the Heretics' Trail

Go southeast to the quest icon on the map. Speak to the 3rd Unit Brave to proceed.

Then go east to the orange circle on the map. Dismount and enter the glowing purple circle. Defeat the Hateful Harrier who is wielding a staff, then the Hateful Harrier who is wielding a lance.

Speak with Yuyuhase Again

Talk to Yuyuhase to proceed.

Search for the Heretics Outside the Observatorium

Go east to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Check on the Suspicious Coerthan just outside of the wall of the Observatorium. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alphinaud

Go southeast to the quest icon on the map. Talk to Alphinaud near the fire pit to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Alphinaud to accept the next quest: Tendrils of Intrigue. There will be a cutscene.
