After Guillaume convinces Lord Drillemont not to trust you, the cook has advice on how to regain his trust.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Ye of Little Faith.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Haustefort in the ground floor of the southern building of Whitebrim Front in Coerthas Central Highlands to begin the quest.

Slay a Spotted Mudpuppy

Go southwest through the archway, then turn left to go east along the road until it splits. Go south at the split. Enter the cave to the south and go through it until you find the purple glowing Destination. Check on it.

Before you attack the Spotted Mudpuppy, target it and use the Dark Cider Vinegar from the Key Items section of your inventory, or via the icon next to the quest name in your list of active quests. This will give it an HP Penalty status and a Damage Down status, making it much less difficult to kill.

Deliver the Tail Meat to Haustefort

Go north to leave the cave, then go northwest. Go through the archway to Whitebrim Front, and enter the southern building. Talk to Haustefort and hand over the tail meat.

Offer the Steaks to the Hungry Soldiers

Talk to Theophilain and hand over a steak, then talk to Ombeline and hand over a steak. Then go up the stairs and talk to Ignemortel to hand over the last steak.

Speak with Haustefort

Go downstairs and talk to Haustefort.

Offer a Steak to Cenota

Go outside and go north past the fire pit. Go north up the stairs and into the building on the right. As soon as you enter, turn right and go up the stairs. At the top, go north past Astidien and turn right to find Cenota. Talk to her and hand over the steak to complete the quest.

After you complete the quest, talk to Cid who is standing nearby to accept the next quest: The Best Inventions.
