Solo Duty: Endwalker
Part 1
Tidal Wave creates a water spout at one side of the area. This causes a knockback attack from that side of the area. This is accompanied by a series of circle attack markers along the opposite edge of the area. Go near the water spout or use a knockback prevention move to avoid getting knocked into the circle attacks.
Puddles will be left behind in random locations. Don't step in the puddles or you will be inflicted with Lightning Resistance Down II.
Judgement Bolt deals lightning damage, and will deal more damage if you stood in a puddle.
Hellfire deals fire damage. Stand in a puddle to gain the Fire Resistance Up status.
Akh Morn is an attack that hits multiple times.
Come Hither creates cone attacks originating from the boss, followed by another set of cone attacks in the safe areas between the first cones. Stand on one of the second cones that appear, then move into the safe area left behind after the first cone attacks go off. This is also accompanied by a circle attack originating from the Avatar, so keep your distance from it while dodging the cones.
Afterward, the boss will float upward and will do a cone attack toward you, but the attack marker appears only briefly before the attack occurs, so move behind the boss as soon as you see the boss float upward.
The Avatar appears and casts Nine Nights, creating a circle attack around itself, followed by circle attacks that appear one by one around the edge of the area. Stand on the last circle attack to appear, then as soon as the center attack goes off, move into the safe area that it left behind.
Whenever the boss rushes to you and swings the weapon, move out of the way because the boss is about to do a circle attack that only shows an attack marker for a brief time before the attack occurs.
Exaflare creates two directional circle attack markers along one edge, and another pair of directional circle attack markers along the opposite edge, in the opposite locations. At the same time, the Avatar begins casting Mortal Coil, a donut attack. Stand near the edge next to a circle attack marker, without standing on the donut attack marker, and as soon as a circle attack goes off, move into the space behind it. The boss will also do an unmarked cone attack, so be sure to get behind or to the side of the boss to avoid it.
The boss will cast Diamond Dust, making the floor slippery. Slide onto one of the cone attack markers that appears. The ice will disappear when the first set of cone attacks goes off, so move into the safe area left behind by a cone after the ice has disappeared. At the same time, the avatar will cast Dead Gaze, so make sure to turn your character to face away from the Avatar until it has finished casting Dead Gaze.
Continue the battle until the boss's health is fully depleted.
The boss will cast Tidal Wave and you will be temporarily stunned, and there will be a mid-battle cutscene. You will be hit with an unavoidable attack.
Part 2
The boss will cast Aetherial Ray, an unavoidable attack that causes beams of light to hit the area from random locations, damaging you several times.
The boss will cast Silvered Edge, three unmarked line attacks from the boss. Keep your distance from the boss and keep moving in a circle around the boss to avoid this.
As before, whenever the boss floats upward or swings the weapon, be sure to move behind the boss to avoid the unmarked attack that follows.
Swift As Shadow is a line attack aimed at you. Move out of the line attack marker to avoid it.
Candlewick is a circle attack centered on the boss, then a donut attack outside of the original circle. Stand on the edge of the donut attack marker that is nearest to the boss, then when the circle attack goes off, move into the safe area that it leaves behind.
Extinguishment is a donut attack around the boss. Move into the safe area near the boss to avoid it.
Unmoving Dvenadkatika is a series of cone attacks from the boss that appear one after the other until the boss is surrounded by attack markers. Stand on the last attack marker that appears, then move into the safe area left behind after the first attack goes off. While the cone attacks are still going off, the boss will cast The Edge Unbound, a circle attack centered on the boss. Move away from the boss while also staying out of the cone attacks.
Part 3
You will be pulled into the center of the area and stunned, and hit with an unavoidable attack.
When the Active Time Maneuver begins, you can quickly type randomly on the keyboard or quickly press random buttons on the controller to fill the gauge.
There will be several cutscenes in sequence.
