Upon accepting Minfilia's invitation to the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, you are formally introduced to its key members and given your first task.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest The Scions of the Seventh Dawn.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Minfilia in the Waking Sands in Vesper Bay in Western Thanalan, and reply with "I will go whither the wild rose blooms" to accept the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Thancred

Talk to Thancred after the cutscene to proceed.

Speak with Isembard at Camp Drybone

Camp Drybone is located in Eastern Thanalan. Vesper Bay has a Chocobokeep that you can talk to if you want to hire a Chocobo Porter to take you to Horizon (if you have spoken with the Chocobokeep there). Otherwise, you can teleport to Black Brush Station if you attuned to it, or teleport to Horizon if you attuned there, and make your way across the bridge south of there, then go northeast to Central Thanalan, and go east from there until you reach Eastern Thanalan. Go northeast from the entrance to reach Camp Drybone.

At Camp Drybone, attune to the Aetheryte, then speak to Isembard to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Isembard to accept the next quest: Unsolved Mystery.
