Y'shtola has spoken to you in her chambers in Slitherbough and suggests that you take a moment to explore the city.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Into the Dark.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Y'shtola in the Rak'tika Greatwood to begin the quest.

Speak with Runar

Go west to go outside. Attune to the Aetheryte if you have not yet done so, then go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Runar. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Runar Again

Go south and through the door near Ingvar. Talk to Runar to proceed.

/kneel before Runar

Target Runar and type /kneel or /kneel motion (the second one will not display a chat message). There will be a cutscene.

Greet the Residents of Slitherbough

Go north to go outside, then go to the nearest quest icon. Target the Placid Elder. You can optionally click the 💬 to the left of the chat input box and choose Say to switch to Say mode (which will persist until you change the chat mode again). Then, if you have Direct Chat disabled, you can either click the message entry field or press Enter to enable text entry. If you have Direct Chat enabled, you can just start typing. If you did not switch to Say mode by clicking the 💬, you can either type /say before your message, or type /say by itself and press Enter to switch to Say mode (which will persist until you change the chat mode again). Then enter "allin tuta". Make sure that you enter it exactly as it is displayed in the quest objective, with the same capitalization.

Go north and into the cave behind the Delivery Moogle, then target Vondia and repeat the above steps to say "allin tuta".

Go southeast and through the door south of the vegetable garden. Target Asgeir and repeat the above steps to say "allin tuta".

Go back outside and go through the door near Invgar (go south from the Aetheryte to reach it), then go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Minfilia to complete the quest.

Aether Current Quest

With the completion of this quest, you can now start the blue quest "What We Do For Family" in the Rak'tika Greatwood. Completing that quest will attune you to an Aether Current in this area.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Runar to accept the next quest: A Helping Hand. There will be a cutscene.
