This page explains how to complete the level 89 Endwalker quest "A Bold Decision".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Her Children, One and All.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Krile in Old Sharlayan to begin the quest.

Speak with Fourchenault

Go outside and use the Aethernet Shard to go to the Rostra, then go east until you can go north through the door. Keep going north to reach the quest icon, then talk to Fourchenault to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alphinaud

Go south to go outside, then talk to Alphinaud to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Tataru

Go west and use the Aethernet Shard to go to the Old Sharlayan Aetheryte plaza, then go northeast to the quest icon. Talk to Tataru to proceed.

Wait at the Destination

Check on the sparkling Destination to proceed. There will be an unskippable cutscene. Say Yes if you are ready. During the cutscene, choose whichever dialogue options you prefer.

Speak with Varsarudh

Talk to Varsarudh to complete the quest.

Endwalker Artifact Gear

You can now talk to Varsarudh to receive free Artifact Gear for jobs that you have unlocked. In addition, you can dye the artifact gear if you have done the role quest for that job's role.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, go southwest to the Aetheryte and use it to go to the Baldesion Annex. Go into the building and talk to Krile to accept the next quest: Friends Gathered.
