Titan has been summoned once more, and it again falls to you to strike him down.

How to Unlock

The Navel (Hard) 8-player trial is unlocked by the level 50 quest In a Titan Spot.

First Phase

Titan periodically casts Landslide, a flame line attack. If you do not move out of the way of this, you will be knocked back. The walls will eventually disappear, and if you are knocked off of the edge, you will die.

Titan periodically attacks repeatedly with Tumult, damaging all players.

Titan will sometimes trap a random player in a Granite Gaol. Other players need to kill the Granite Gaol before it finishes casting Granite Sepulchre, which is a high-damage attack on the trapped player.

Titan will sometimes target random players with Weight of the Land, a circle attack.

After taking a certain amount of damage, Titan will jump upward, and the outer ring of the area will be marked with a red ring. Stand as close to this ring as you can without standing on it. Titan will use Geocrush when he lands, and the closer you are to the center when this attack hits, the more damage you will take. If you are standing on the red ring, you will fall into the lava along with the outer ring of the area and die.

After taking a certain amount of damage, Titan will use Geocrush again, marking the edge of the area with a red ring that you again have to stand as close to without standing on it.

After Titan's health is reduced further, he will do a third and final Geocrush, marking the edge of the area with a red ring that you again have to stand as close to without standing on it.

Second Phase

Titan will become untargetable, and Titan's Heart will appear. Focus all attacks on Titan's Heart unless a player becomes trapped in a Granite Gaol. Other players should kill the Granite Gaol, then resume attacking Titan's Heart.

After Titan's Heart is destroyed (or if you take too long), Titan jumps up, but does not cast Geocrush; instead, he casts Earthen Fury, a high-damage spell that damages all players. Before this spell finishes casting, be sure to use shields, regens, defense-boosting moves, and so on. If Titan's Heart was not destroyed before this, the damage of Earthen Fury will be higher, and you might not be able to survive.

Third Phase

After he casts Earthen Fury, Titan will sometimes hit the player highest on the enmity list with Mountain Buster, a cone attack.

Bomb Boulders will sometimes appear on the floor. They can appear in several different patterns (see below). However, Titan will also target a random player with Landslide, so players will need to be careful to avoid standing on the fiery line while also avoiding the bombs that are about to explode.

The bombs can appear in a 3x3 pattern with the middle line of bombs appearing first, then one of the lines on the side, and then in a line on the other side. Temporarily stand near the last line of bombs to appear, but be sure to dodge Landslide or use a knockback prevention move if you can't get out of the way in time, then be sure to move into the middle as soon as the middle bombs have exploded.

The bombs can also appear in a circle, one by one around the edge of the room, with a bomb appearing in the middle as well. Temporarily stand near the last bombs to appear around the edge, dodge Landslide as needed or use a knockback prevention move, then move to where a bomb has just exploded.

The bombs can also appear in a cross pattern, with a bomb appearing in the center, four bombs appearing close to the center bomb, and four bombs appearing around the edge. The four bombs on the edge have large spaces between them, so you can stand in a space between the bombs on the edge, then move into the center as soon as the center bombs have exploded, dodging Landslide as needed or using a knockback prevention move.

Completing the Quest

Defeating the boss will complete one of the quest objectives for the Main Scenario Quest The Beast That Mourned at the Heart of the Mountain.
