You must fight your way to the apex of Syrcus Tower and defeat the resurrected Emperor Xande, that Eorzea might be free of his all-consuming ambition.
How to Unlock
Syrcus Tower, a 24-player alliance raid, is unlocked by the level 50 Quest Syrcus Tower.
Scylla
If a lightning orb tethers to you, drag the lightning orb to any of the bright glowing circles on the ground.
If an ice orb tethers to you, you will be frozen and will take damage over time. Make sure not to be standing in a puddle of water when your ice orb reaches you, or you will be frozen and so will anyone else in the puddle.
If a fire orb tethers to you, drag it to someone who is frozen, and you will thaw them out. Make sure not to be standing in a puddle of water when your fire orb reaches you, or you will make the puddle disappear.
When the boss casts Ancient Flare, you can stand in a puddle to reduce the damage.
Clear the Braid
On the way to the next boss, tanks should draw the enmity of the Doga clones that appear.
Glasya Labolas
Don't step into the electric fields around the Clockwork Wrights. Ignore the Clockwork Wrights and focus all attacks on the boss.
Clear the Golden Sacristy
If you are marked with a large green marker above your head, go to an edge of the area.
Amon
Tanks should keep the boss in the middle of the area.
Other players should make sure not to be in front of where the boss is facing or they will be damaged by some of the attacks on the tanks.
Stun the Experimental Byproducts that appear, and kill them before they can reach the boss. These enemies appear multiple times throughout the battle, so make sure to stun and defeat them whenever they appear.
Healers should use Esuna on any players who have a Bomb debuff.
If you are tethered with a purple orb, try to drag the orb into one of the three Kum Kum enemies that appear. This will give them a Minimize debuff, lowering their defense and weaking their attacks. If a Kum Kum already has this debuff, drag the purple circle to one that doesn't.
If you are turned into a frog, run away from the Kichinebiks (snakes). Don't use Flame Breath on frozen players. They need to stay frozen to protect the other players from an attack later. If you are not turned into a frog, try to quickly defeat the Kichinebiks since they have very strong attacks.
If you are marked with a target marker, avoid standing underneath the boss.
When large chunks of ice appear, hide behind an ice chunk that isn't under the boss. This will prevent you from getting killed by the boss's Curtain Call attack. If there are no ice chunks, you will be defeated and the boss battle will start again from the beginning.
Xande
When yellow circles appear, make sure someone is standing in each one. This will prevent the yellow circle from damaging all players.
When the boss disappears, several Stonefall Circles and a Starfall Circle will appear. Defeat these before the falling comets land.
When players are marked with stack markers, all 24 players can stack together in the same location. After the attack goes off, stay there to be levitated above the ground. This will keep you safe from the boss's Ancient Quaga attack.
Completing the Quest
Defeating the boss will complete one of the quest objectives for the Quest Syrcus Tower.
