How to Clear Witch's House Stage

Go to the right and there are four ? Blocks that each contains one coin. There is a Pikku just after the ? Blocks that hops back and forth.

Next, there is a Piranha Plant in a pipe, followed by a Boo ghost, a cauldron, and another Boo ghost.

Next, there is a Boo ghost, followed by three Spiked Balls that go up and down chains.

There is another Pikku, then a pipe. You can go down the pipe to find a room full of cauldrons, with a Boo ghost above some flames. Avoid the Boo ghost and flames, and jump up the cauldrons to collect the coins. The ? Block on the left contains a Super Mushroom or Fire Flower, and the ? Block on the right contains a 1-Up Heart. Go back up the pipe.

Go to the right and there are several cauldrons above flames. Some of the cauldrons have ? Blocks over them. In the second pair of ? Blocks, there is a Carrot in the rightmost block.

After the cauldrons, hit the Midway Bell.

Next, there are a Spiked Balls on chains, and two Rerere (brooms).

Then you reach an area with specimen jars on shelves. There are Masked Ghouls walking on some of the shelves. In the middle of each shelf, there are some coins.

Go down the second pipe and get the coins, and stomp on the Masked Ghouls below the coins. Then go up the rightmost pipe and jump to reveal two Hidden Blocks, one of which contains a Moneybag. Go back down and go through the next pipe, and jump to reveal another two hidden blocks, one of which contains a Fire Flower. Then go left and go up the leftmost pipe. Go to the right, but don't stand on the second pipe, because it has Hidden Blocks, which would force you to go back down the pipe and go up the leftmost pipe again. Get the Fire Flower and Moneybag.

To the right, there is a Boo ghost. Go through the pipe after the ghost, and you will face the boss of Pumpkin Zone.

The Witch

The Witch will appear on the left or right side of the screen and throw a fireball. Sometimes she throws a fireball horizontally to try to hit you, and sometimes she throws a fireball under a cauldron. If the fireball goes beneath one of the cauldrons, the lid of the cauldron will fly upward after a moment. If you are standing on a lid when it flies upward, you will be launched up into the spikes in the ceiling and get hurt.

You can throw fireballs at the Witch or stomp on her, but if you stomp on her, be sure not to hit the ceiling spikes when you bounce off of her.

After the Battle

After you defeat the Witch, the Pumpkin Coin comes out of the cauldron and goes into the gate at Wario's Castle. An "X" flag appears above Pumpkin Zone (but you can still redo the levels there if you wish), and the Witch is no longer visible when you visit Pumpkin Zone.

If you got all six golden coins, you can now proceed to Wario's Castle in the middle of the map. The entrance accessible from the southern part of the map, near Tree Zone.
