How to clear Roots Stage, also known as Invincibility! in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.

How to Reach Tree Zone
Tree Zone is in the southwest part of the map, west of the Mushroom Stage.
How to Clear Roots Stage
Go to the right, and you find a tree root with an opening in the top that you can fall into. Fall into the root, then jump up the left side of the hole to reveal a hidden Brick that contains a Star.
As you go to the right, there are coins above the root and inside of it. There is also a Ragumo that digs out of the ground and starts walking toward you. To the right, there is another Ragumo, and a Bopping Toady. Before you leave this area, jump on the narrow platform above the three coins (where the second Ragumo was), then jump up and slightly right to reveal a hidden Brick. Jump on top of it. There is another hidden Brick up and to the left, and there is another hidden Brick above that and to the right. Jump up and right from that Brick to reveal one more, which should allow you to reach the 1-Up on the Empty Block above.
Go back down below and keep going to the right. After three coins above the root, there is a Bopping Toady after a gap, and three coins in the root. To the right of that, there are another three coins in the root and another Bopping Toady up above.
Go above-ground here, then go to the right, and the ground will go a bit higher, and there is a gap. You will see a Bopping Toady in the root below. While still above-ground, stand just to the left of the gap, and jump straight up to reveal a Hidden Block. Stand on top of that and jump up and left, then stand on top of that and jump up and right. If you make a running jump, you can reach the 1-Up on the Empty Block on the left.
Go back down below. There is a Spikey on the right that flashes and rolls around, then there is a Kyotonbo that flies around. It can fly through walls, so be careful.
Get the coins that are inside the tree root. After the third set of coins in the root, there is a Bopping Toady above you and a Bopping Toady to the right. Jump above-ground and get the three coins on top of the tree root. Then go back into the root and get the three coins there.
After that, there is a ? Block that contains a Super Mushroom or a Fire Flower. Jump on top of that block and go to the right. Hit the Spikey with a fireball, then stand just to the right of the holes in the clouds in the background and jump straight up to reveal a Hidden Block. Jump on top of it and jump up and right to reveal another block, then jump up and left from there to make a 1-Up Heart appear. Take it.
Go to the right and hit the Midway Bell. Then get the coins inside of the root. There is a Bopping Toady above you. Go above-ground and stomp the Bopping Toady or hit it with a fireball. Then go to the right and jump up the steps. There will be a Kyotonbo, four coins above the gaps, and another Kyotonbo. After you get the four coins, fall down through a gap and get the coins there. Beware of the Ragumo down below and to the left. The third ? Block from the left contains a Super Mushroom or Fire Flower.
There is a dead end to the right, so go to the left until you can jump up out of the root. Go to the right without falling back into the root, until you reach a Spikey that is next to some Empty Blocks. Jump onto the upper Empty Block, then jump up and right. Keep jumping up and right from each new block to reach a bunch of Empty Blocks with coins on them. If you hold B to run, you can just run to the right and you will automatically jump over the gaps. At the end, there is an arrow made of coins. Fall through the arrow to try to get as many of the coins as you can.
You will land on a set of three coins, and there is a Ragumo in the root beneath you. You can optionally go left, and if you're tall, get hit until you're small, to get the coins in the narrow passages within the root. Beware of the Bopping Toadies along the way.
Go to the right again, and you can gather more coins, dodge more Bopping Toadies, and there is a Kyotonbo near the end of the root.
Before you jump on the Bricks, go to the right, just before the goal door, and jump straight up to reveal a hidden block. Run and jump onto it, then jump straight up to reveal a 1-Up Heart. Take it, then go up the Bricks on the left and jump from there to hit the Bonus Bell.
If you hit the Bonus Bell, you will play Amida Game II, also known as Amidakuji, Ladder Lottery, and Ghost Leg. Walk beneath one of the four plungers, then jump. A spark will travel along the wires from the plunger that you hit. The spark always travels sideways whenever there is a wire going sideways, unless a rat is blocking that wire. You will win the power-up or 1-Up that the spark travels to. This Amida Game II has a Super Mushroom, a Fire Flower, a Carrot, and a 1-Up.
