How to clear Crane Stage, also known as Beware: Jagged Spikes, in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.

How to Clear Crane Stage
Go to the right and hit the ? Blocks, but beware that the last one contains a Jack-in-the-Box, as well as a coin. The Jack-in-the-Box will bounce around after it appears. There is also a Kiddokatto that walks toward you near the end of the ? Blocks.
To the right, there is a large Turtle Cannon that shoots Bullet Bills.
After that, jump on the ball attached to the chains, and it will take you past the spikes in the floor. When the ball starts to flash, jump to the right before the ball disappears from under you.
Jump onto the next ball that takes you along the chains, and hit the ? Block to get a Super Mushroom or Fire Flower.
When you get on the next ball on the chain, you have to jump to avoid the Bullet Bill from the Turtle Cannon up ahead, and do the same thing on the next one. Then jump past the cannon and go to the right.
Get on the conveyor belt and press down to crouch if you're tall. If you want a Carrot, you can hit the ? Block, but there are some coins and a 1-Up Heart that you won't be able to get unless you're Fire Mario. There is a Kiddokatto after the ? Block and Empty Block.
After you go beneath another set of spikes, there is a hole in the ceiling. Jump up in the middle of that hole and the right side of that hole to reveal two Hidden Blocks. Jump on them to reach an area up above with coins on the left and Fiery Blocks on the right. If you're Fire Mario, throw fireballs at them to break them then go to the right and get the coins, and hit the ? Block to get a 1-Up Heart. Then go back down to the conveyor belt.
As you go to the right on the conveyor belt, crouch if you're tall to avoid the Bullet Bill from the Turtle Cannon. Jump on top of the cannon and hit the Midway Bell. Then go to the right and hit the ? Block to get a coin, but watch out for the Jack-in-the-Box that jumps out. After that, there is a Kiddokatto.
Go to the right and crouch if you're tall to get past the last spikes.
Go to the right, and you see some spikes on the floor, but you can optionally skip them by standing on the left side of the raised platform to the left of the floating platform and jumping straight up to reveal a Hidden Block. You can jump on it to get on top of the floating platform. But you will miss coins and a power-up if you do so. Beware of the Koopa Troopa and Kiddokatsus as you go to the right.
If you don't want to skip the coins, walk to the right, and the crane will catch you and take you across to the other side, through the coins. Be sure to walk to the right before the crane drops you on the spikes on the other side.
After the second set of coins, there is a pipe. Go down it. Go to the right and beware of the Bullet Bill from the cannon. Make your way down through this room, dodging the Bullet Bills or stomping on them, then hit the ? Block at the end to get a 1-Up Heart. Then go back up to the top of this room and go up the pipe.
Go to the right and jump over the spikes, then get in the crane and let it take you through the coins as before.
To the right of that, there is a ? Block, but there is a Turtle Cannon just after it, so wait for it to shoot a Bullet Bill before you hit the ? Block. It contains a Super Mushroom or Fire Flower. If you're tall, you can run and crouch to slide beneath the next ? Block, which contains a coin. The third ? Block contains a coin and a Jack-in-the-Box, and the final ? Block contains a coin.
After that, jump on the ball to be taken up above the two Turtle Cannons, but be prepared to jump to avoid the Bullet Bills as you move upward. Then jump onto the ledge above the Turtle Cannons.
From there, go to the right and let the crane take you to the right. It will stop before you reach the Bonus Bell, so be sure to jump out and hit the bell, or you will be dumped onto the spikes below.
