How to Clear Owl Stage

Go to the right and you will see a ? Block. There is a platform that goes in a loop around it, so jump onto that platform and hit the ? Block to get a Fire Flower.

Then go to the right. There is a Paragoomba hovering up and down between each gap.

After that, there is an Owl, also known as a Heavy Zed. Jump on top of the Owl and it will take you up to the next platform. Go to the right, and an Owl is flying between your platform and the next, so get on top of it to reach the next platform. Go to the right and stand on this Owl, then get on top of the two ? Blocks and press down while jumping to do a Spin Jump (if you're not Bunny Mario) to get the coins from the ? Blocks.

Then hop on the moving clouds and jump across them to reach the Bricks on the right. Hit the Midway Bell and go to the right. A Dondon will fly overhead.

There is a platform going in a loop around a ? Block. Hit the ? Block if you want a Carrot, but keep in mind that there are some ? Blocks up ahead that you can only get if you're either small or can do a Spin Jump, which you can't if you're Bunny Mario.

Get on the next moving platform, but try to hit the ? Block before the platform is directly underneath the ? Block, to make it easier to get the 1-Up Heart that comes out.

Go to the right, but if you're Bunny Mario, don't go up the pipe yet. Instead, jump to the right and hover to collect all the coins. Then if you want to go into the room above, where there are some ? Blocks, go back to the left.

You can go up the pipe to reach an area with a lot of ? Blocks. The bottom row can only be hit if you're small or you can do a Spin Jump, which you can't do as Bunny Mario. Leave the upper-right ? Block for last because it contains a Star. In the bottom row, the fourth ? Block from the left contains a Fire Flower, so if you want that and you're Bunny Mario, you can go to the right side of the room and let the Paragoomba hit you to turn you into Super Mario, allowing you to do a Spin Jump to hit that block. The Fire Flower will come out of the top of the block even if you hit it with a Spin Jump from above.

When you're ready to continue, hit the upper-right ? Block to get a Star, then go down the pipe beneath the Paragoomba. Go to the right and hit the Paragoobas between the walls of Empty Blocks. Then get on the floating cloud, get past the Paragoomba after it, then get on the next cloud and get past the Paragoomba after that. Then go through the pipe on the right.

The Big Bird

The Big Bird starts out sitting on an egg, then slowly flies in an arc, ending in the upper-right corner of the screen. After that, it swoops down in a U-shape. Jump when the bird is almost in the bottom-right corner of the screen, and try to stomp on it. If you're Fire Mario, you can also throw fireballs at the bird, but keep in mind that this makes the bird stop moving for a moment, so time your jumps accordingly.

After the Battle

After you defeat the Big Bird, the Tree Coin comes out of its egg and goes into the gate at Wario's Castle. An "X" flag appears above Tree Zone (but you can still redo the levels there if you wish), and the Big Bird is no longer visible when you visit Tree Zone.

If you got all six golden coins, you can now proceed to Wario's Castle in the middle of the map. The entrance accessible from the southern part of the map, near Tree Zone.

Now you can go to any of the other zones:
