Go to the right and jump on the moving platform, but beware of the Podoboo just after the first platform. Get on the second platform when it's safe to do so, then jump off on the right.
The remainder of the castle is a maze, where if you go the wrong way, you are sent back to the last place where you can choose a path. The correct choices are below:
- Lower
- Middle
- Upper
- Upper
- Middle
- Upper
After that, there are some trenches, and you start seeing Bowser's fire breath. Then you reach the bridge, where there is a Podoboo to the left of the center of the bridge, and Bowser throws a lot of hammers. As always, if you're Fire Mario, you can hit Bowser with fireballs to get rid of him. Otherwise, try to jump over or run under Bowser.
When you go to the right, you meet one more mushroom retainer who says the princess is in another castle. Then you continue to World 8-1.
