A guide to completing World 3-4 in Super Mario Bros 1 for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

There is a pit to the right that has a Podoboo jumping up and down out of it. To the right of the pit, there are three platforms that each have a fire bar, followed by a pit with another Podoboo jumping up and down.

After you get past those, there are three ?-mark blocks, the middle of which has a Mushroom or Fire Flower.

Jump over the flaming pit, then go to the right and jump over the two fire bars while avoiding the two fire bars in the ceiling.

To the right, there is another pair of fire bars, and there are three coins near the top fire bar.

Each of the fire pits to the right has a Podoboo going up and down. Bowser's fire breath will start to appear in this area. Carefully jump over the pits and you'll reach Bowser's bridge. This time there is a brick wall over part of the left side of the bridge, making it more difficult to reach the platform over Bowser's head. As always, if you're Fire Mario, you can hit Bowser with fireballs until he is defeated.

After you get past Bowser, go to the right to be told once again that the princess is in another castle! Then you will proceed to World 4-1.
