A guide to completing World 2-3 in Super Mario Bros 1 for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Get All the Coins

If you want to get a hidden 1UP in World 3-1, be sure to get all the coins in this level without dying! If you don't, the 1UP won't be there!

Explore World 2-3

This level is fairly straightforward. Go to the right and you will find a bridge where a lot of flying Cheep-Cheep fish are jumping up from below. Go to the right while dodging the fish and collecting the coins on the way. The ?-mark block on the way contains a Mushroom or Fire Flower.

Jump to the right from there and try to fall through the three coins in the air. You'll land on a tree. From there, jump right to get on the next part of the bridge. Keep going to the right, collecting coins, and carefully jump over the three short segments of bridge with a bunch of coins above them. From there you can just go to the right until you reach the staircase to the goal pole. Run and jump onto the goal pole and you will continue to World 2-4.
