Explore World 2-2

Go to the right and you will find a Mekabon, a robot that can throw its head like a boomerang. If you jump onto its head while it's detached from its body, the head will disappear but the body will grow another head after a moment. If you jump onto its body, or jump onto its head while the head is still attached to the body, you will defeat it. You can also just throw a Superball at Mekabon's body (or at its head if the head is still attached) to defeat it.

To the right, you can hold the B button to run past the gaps in the bricks.

After that, you can hit the ? block to get a Mushroom or Flower.

After you jump over the gap, there is a Goombo with a ? block above it. The ? block just contains a coin. There is also a Bombshell Koopa on top of the pipe. Get the coins above the pipe, then you can go down into the pipe to reach a hidden area.

In the hidden area, start by jumping onto the highest brick, then jump straight up to break the one above that. Collect all but the rightmost coins there, then if you're Superball Mario, throw Superballs to get the coins on the right side. Go back down through the hole on the left, then hit all the bricks below you. The one on the right contains coins. Then fall into the area of coins on the right, collect all the coins, then jump to break the bricks. If you didn't get the coins above the pipe, jump on top of the pipe so you can jump up and get them.

After you leave the hidden area, you can go to the left and hit the ? block again to get another coin if you wish. You can also jump straight up from the pipe to get the two coins again.

Go to the right and there is another ? block, which you can hit to get a coin. Then you can jump on top of the brick to jump onto the moving platform to the right. From there, jump onto the next moving platform, and from there, try to jump so you can fall straight down through all the coins, but don't jump on the Bombshell Koopa below the coins or hit it with a Superball yet.

From here you can choose to either use the upper path on the right, where you can get a Star and a Mushroom or Flower, or if you're not small, you can let the Bombshell Koopa hit you so you shrink, then you can jump onto a hidden platform to the right of the platform below where the coins were, then keep going to the right along that hidden platform to reach some non-hidden platforms, where you will find a lot of coins. Be careful of the Goombos along the way. Be sure to jump and hit the floating brick after the third set of coins, because it contains a Mushroom, and you can jump to hit the bricks above you to get out of this area.

To the right, get past the Bombshell Koopa and Goombo. After, that a Yurarin Boo is jumping up and down and spitting fireballs. Then there is a Mekabon. After that, jump onto the platform that is going up and down, then jump from there to the platform that is going left and right.

Next, there is a Bombshell Koopa walking back and forth under some ? blocks. These blocks all just contain a coin. After that, there is a Yurarin Boo going up and down and spitting fireballs.

After that, there is a pipe with a Piranha Plant, a Goombo beneath a ? block that contains a coin, and another pipe with a Piranha Plant. Get on top of the second pipe, jump straight up to get the coins, then go down the pipe beneath where those coins were.

In the hidden room, get the coins on the bottom level, then stand beneath the gap to the right of the hanging wall, and jump straight up to reveal a hidden brick. Jump onto it, then jump up onto the next platform. Run to the right to go over the gaps and get the coins. Jump up and hit the bricks beneath the pipe to get more coins. Then run to the left and jump onto the upper platform to get the coins and leave the hidden area.

Jump up and get the two coins again, then hit the ? block again to get another coin from it.

Then jump from the pipe to the block with a Bombshell Koopa on it and don't let the Koopa hit you. Go to the right and hit the ? block to get a coin.

Go to the right and quickly jump up the dropping lifts to reach the moving platform above. Then jump up into the upper door to do the Bonus Game and move on to World 2-3.
