Kirby fights enemies in a forest in Dream Land to reach the stage boss, Whispy Woods.

Stage 1, Part 1

Go to the right and there are two Waddle Dees that walk to the left. Remember that you can't stomp on enemies without getting hurt. Instead, press B to inhale the enemy, then press B again to spit the enemy at another enemy to get rid of it. Or, if you inhaled an enemy, you can press down to swallow it and make it disappear.

After the two Waddle Dees, there is a Twizzy flying to the left, and a Waddle Dee that runs back and forth.

Next, there is a Twizzy that hops up and down. After that, there is a Bronto Burt that goes slowly up and down, and a Waddle Dee that runs back and forth.

Then there is a wall that is too high to jump over. Press up to inhale some air, and then you can float around by pressing up and left and right. Float up and to the right to get past the wall. Then press B to blow the puff of air at the Cappy and stop floating.

Then stand in front of the door and press up to go through it. You find two Energy Drinks, also known as Pep Brew. Each one will restore two points of your vitality, so get them if you need them. Then exit the room.

Two Bronto Burts will fly overhead, and there is a Cappy to the right of the door. Eat the Cappy, then jump or float up the stairs and go over the gap.

There is a Twizzy hopping up and down on one of the steps after the gap. After that, there is a Bronto Burt flying up and down, and a Waddle Dee running back and forth.

Next, there is a Poppy Bros Jr. that is walking back and forth, followed by a Cappy, and a Twizzy that flies overhead. After the Cappy, there is a Waddle Dee that is walking back and forth.

Next, there is a Twizzy that hops up and down on a step, and a Bronto Burt that flies overhead. Then there is a Warp Star. Touch the Warp Star to go to the next part of the level.

Poppy Bros Sr.

Now you need to fight Poppy Bros Sr. He will throw bombs at you, so don't stand too close to him. Inhale a bomb and spit it back out at the Poppy Bros Sr. to damage him. Hit him three times to defeat him and continue the level.

Stage 1, Part 2

After the miniboss, there is a Poppy Bros Jr. that rolls back and forth on an apple.

Then there is a Bronto Burt that floats up and down, and a Cappy on the ground. If you try to inhale the Cappy, you will just inhale its cap, so be sure to spit the cap at the Cappy to get rid of it.

Next, a Bronto Burt will fly overhead, and there is a Waddle Dee going back and forth on a platform. After the platform, there is another Waddle Dee going back and forth.

After that, there is a Bronto Burt floating up and down, as well as a Bronto Burt that floats down from above and then charges toward you. There is also a Grizzo that slowly goes back and forth. Even though the Grizzo is large, you can inhale it.

After that, there is a Poppy Bros Jr. rolling back and forth on an apple, and two Twizzies fly overhead.

Next, two Bronto Burts float down from above, then charge toward you. There is also a Cappy.

After the Cappy, there are two Star Blocks, also known as Destructive Blocks. You can spit an enemy or puff of air at a Star Block to destroy it, but you can also inhale a Star Block and spit it as a projectile. A Bronto Burt will float down from above and charge toward you, so you might want to inhale a Star Block and spit it at the Bronto Burt to avoid getting hit.

Next, a Twizzy flies overhead, and there is a Poppy Bros Jr. going back and forth. This is followed by a Poppy Bros Jr. riding on top of a Grizzo.

Then there is a Bronto Burt that flies toward you, a Twizzy that flies overhead, a Cappy, and a Bronto Burt that floats up and down, near another Cappy.

Then there is a door, and just beyond the door, there is another Poppy Bros Jr. on a Grizzo. Go through the door.

Inside a Tree

There is a Cappy to the left, but you can ignore it. Go to the right and jump upward twice to reach the upper platform. There is a Grizzo to the left, so inhale it and get rid of it, then press up to float up onto the platform above you. You can spit the air at the Grizzo to the right.

Then press up to float up through the hole in the ceiling, but beware of the Cappy that slowly bounces toward the platform. There are Star Blocks to the right, but they don't have anything behind them.

Go left and press up to float up. There is a Twizzy at the left side of the platform above. Spit air at it to get rid of it, then move toward the right to land on the platform (you can press up again if you need to float to reach it). To the right, there are two Cappies.

Float up from there, then go to the left to find two Star Blocks with a Maxim Tomato behind them. Inhale the blocks, then take the Maxim Tomato to refill your health.

Float up from there, but there is a Waddle Dee that is quickly going back and forth on the platform, so go up the left or right side when the Waddle Dee is on the opposite side. Then you can go into the corner so the Waddle Dee doesn't run into you, then spit out your air or inhale the Waddle Dee.

There are Star Blocks in the corners, but they don't lead to any secrets.

There is a Twizzy that hops up and down on the left side of the platform above. There is also a Waddle Dee that goes back and forth in front of the door. After you get past those two enemies, go through the door.

Whispy Woods

Fall down the holes in the floor and you will find yourself in front of the first boss, Whispy Woods. Apples will fall from above. If you don't inhale them right away, they will bounce from side to side, so be sure not to let them hit you. Inhale the apples and spit them at Whispy Woods, but beware of the puffs of air that Whispy Woods spits at you. You will need to jump or float up or crouch to avoid being in the path of the air puffs. Or you can float near Whispy Woods's eyes to avoid them entirely, but watch out for falling apples if you do this. Whispy Woods's mouth will change shape before it blows air puffs, so keep an eye on it to know when you will need to dodge the air.

After you defeat Whispy Woods, touch the Sparkling Star to clear the level and continue to Stage 2: Castle Lololo.
