Stage 4, Part 1

Go to the right and start inhaling, because a Waddle Doo will quickly run toward you. Stay on the lower cloud and go to the right to avoid the Gordo that goes up and down. There will also be a Benny that falls down from above, near the Gordo.

After that, there is a Blatzy cannon that shoots at different angles, and a Koozer that tries to fly at you. To the right of the Blatzy, a Waddle Dee walks back and forth on another cloud platform.

As you go to the right, be careful of the Koozer that comes down from above and then charges toward you, as well as a Benny that goes from left to right toward you. There is also a Waddle Dee near this area that walks back and forth, and sometimes hops upward.

To the right of that, there are three Scarfies. As before, don't inhale them! If you try, they will just get angry and charge toward you, and will explode when it hits you. Instead, press up to inhale a puff of air, move a short distance away from a Scarfy, and blow the puff of air at it. It will explode and disappear.

After the three Scarfies that appear above the gap, there are two Scarfies on the right.

After that, there is a Whiskers that spins around in a circle. This is followed by two Whiskers spinning around above a gap.

After the gap, some Waddle Dees and Waddle Doos float down on parasols, and in Extra Game, the parasols will fly toward you to try to hit you. They can be inhaled or spit at. Then there is a Koozer that flies from right to left across the sky, and a Blatzy cannon that shoots three cannonballs downward while floating with a parasol.

After the cannon, two Bennies float up from below, and three Koozers fly toward you.

After that, go through the door.

Stage 4, Part 2

A Boomer will walk toward you, then it stops and throws two fast boomerangs at you. After several Boomers, there is a Waddle Doo that jumps and shoots a rotating beam, changing direction to face you, and another one just before a spiky area.

Just after the spiky area, there is another Boomer. After that, there are two Cawcuns that fly toward you, and three Koozers that fly very quickly toward you.

Then, two Scarfies float up from below, followed by two Waddle Dees that walk toward you. Then there are two Koozers that fly up and down from the right side of the screen to the left.

Then there is a Boomer just before a door. Go through the door.

Stage 4, Part 3

There is a Waddle Dee to the right that walks back and forth, then stops and jumps up.

After that, as you float up, watch out for the Whiskers that moves randomly above you. There is another Whiskers to the left. Then there is a Benny that bounces around.

Float upward, and there is a Waddle Dee to the right that goes back and forth, then stops and jumps upward.

To the right of that, there is a Whiskers that spins in a circle above you.

To the right of that, there is a Whiskers that spins in a circle above you. After that, you can optionally go to the dead end on the left, past another Whiskers, and press up to go through the secret door at the end. There you will find a Mint Leaf on the platform below, and you can fly to the right to find an Energy Drink, some Whiskers, and a Maxim Tomato. After the Maxim Tomato, go down and to the right, past some Cawcuns, to find a 1up on a column near the bottom of the screen. Then there are some Bennies, and some Koozers. Go through the door at the end and skip to Kracko Jr. on this page.

If you don't want to get the power-ups mentioned in the previous paragraph, go to the right instead of the left, and there is a Gordo that goes up and down, and left and right. Get past it, then get past the Benny that bounces around. This is followed by a Scarfy, which is followed by a Boomer.

After the Boomer, go through the door to face a miniboss.

Kracko Jr.

In the Extra Game version of this battle, Kracko Jr. will drop four cannonballs and dash to the other side of the room, then will crash down onto the ground and bounce the other way, then will swoop up, then swoop back down in a U shape, then fly straight across the screen and drop three bombs, then dash downward and back up again, then repeat the pattern.

Try to stay in the bottom left of the screen. You'll get hit the first time it does a U-shaped attack, but you'll be safe after that. Inhale the leftmost bomb before it hits the ground, then wait for Kracko Jr. to bounce toward the right, and spit at it then.

After you defeat Kracko Jr., touch the Warp Star to continue to the next part of the stage.

Stage 4, Part 4

You'll fall down a waterfall into a pool of water, and there is a Mint Leaf to the left. Touch the Mint Leaf and you will automatically start flying, and you can spit unlimited air puffs until the effect wears off. Fly to the right, and you find a wall of Star Blocks. The wall has two Energy Drinks and a Maxim Tomato. The Gordos will move up and down to try to block your path, so focus on going all the way through the wall, then just lure the Gordos to the top, then quickly get the Maxim Tomato at the bottom right of the wall.

Then float to the right and up to reach a maze-like area of blocks. There are Waddle Dees going back and forth on some of the platforms in the maze. Go to the bottom of the maze, then float to the right while avoiding the spikes below. When you reach the right wall, float up to the top, where there is a door and a Scarfy. Go through the door.

Touch the Superspicy Curry. Go to the right and destroy all the Star Blocks with flames (the falling stars DO hurt you, so avoid them as well), but beware of the holes in the floor. Be sure to float past them. At the end, go through the door.

Stage 4, Part 5

As you float up this room, beware of the Boomer that throws boomerangs at you. You might want to approach it from behind. Farther up, beware of the Cawcun that flies directly toward you, two Waddle Dees that try to fall on you from their parasols, the parasols that fly at you after the Waddle Dees let go of them, a Koozer that spins around and then charges toward you. At the top of the room, two Waddle Dees and a Waddle Doo float down from parasols and land on the platforms, and the parasols attack you. Ignore the door if you want a 1up and two Maxim Tomatoes, but if you want to just go to the boss instead, you can go through the door and skip to Kracko on this page.

If you want the Maxim Tomatoes and 1up, make sure you're not standing in front of the door, and float up and touch the moon to go to a secret area where two Maxim Tomatoes and a 1up are falling downward, as well as a lot of Gordos. Dodge the Gordos, and be sure to get the power-ups before they fall down past the floor at the bottom of the screen, or you'll lose them. Then go through the door at the bottom to reach the boss of this stage.

Kracko

In the Extra Game version of this battle, Kracko will turn its eye toward you and swoop at you, and sometimes it goes to the middle of the room and shoots two rotating beams. It sometimes goes from left to right dropping bombs. Stay in a corner and jump/float to dodge it when it moves its eye and charges at you, then inhale the nearest bomb before it explodes, and the next time Kracko shoots rotating beams or charges toward you, spit at it and dodge the charge.

After you defeat Kracko, touch the Sparkling Star to clear the level and continue to the final stage, Extra Game Stage 5: Mt. DeDeDe.
