Everything you need to know about Mochi Mayhem, the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC Epilogue.

What is Mochi Mayhem?

Mochi Mayhem is the epilogue of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC. It is a brief storyline, and you receive a special pokémon at the end.

How to Start Mochi Mayhem

To start Mochi Mayhem, you need the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, and you need to complete the main story, the Academy Ace Tournament, the Teal Mask story, and the Indigo Disk story.

Then, use Poké Portal to receive a Mystery Gift from the Internet. Choose the Mythical Pecha Berry gift.

After you get the Mythical Pecha Berry, go to Mossui Town in Kitakami. Go to Peachy's shop (just east of the Community Center) and check on the pink item to the left of the shopkeeper. There will be a cutscene.

Go to Your House

Go to your house in Cabo Poco in Paldea. When you arrive at your house, there will be a cutscene.

Go to the Mesagoza South Gate

After the cutscene in your house, go outside, and fly to the "Mesagoza (South)" Pokémon Center. Go west to where your friends are waiting. There will be a cutscene, and you will automatically go to Kitakami.

Meet Up with Kieran

After the cutscene, go northwest from the Community Center to Kieran's house. There will be a cutscene.

Check on Kieran

Go back to the Community Center and talk to Kieran or Nemona at the battle court in front of the building. There will be a cutscene.

Go to the Community Center

Next, go into the Community Center. There will be a cutscene.

Find the Remote

You can optionally talk to each of your friends. Then go to the east side of the room and check on the sparkle in the potted plant. There will be a cutscene.

Find Nemona

Go outside and there will be a cutscene. Talk to the two people who are standing nearby. You will have a double battle with Pokémon Trainer Shige and Pokémon Trainer Aya. They have a level 79 Salazzle, a level 79 Ariados, a level 79 Victreebel, and a level 79 Noctowl. You get 12640 Pokédollars for winning.

Go to Kitakami Hall

Fly to Kitakami Hall or go east from town and follow the road there. Approach Kieran and Carmine's grandparents, and there will be a cutscene. Then you will have a double battle with Grandma Hideko and Grandpa Yukito. They have a level 80 Arbok, a level 82 Chandelure, a level 82 Mamoswine, and a level 80 Weezing. You get 12960 Pokédollars for winning.

Go Back to Mossui Town

After the battle, go back to Mossui Town and approach Arven and Penny, who are standing in front of Peachy's. There will be a cutscene.

Battle Arven and Penny

Talk to Arven or Penny and you will have a double battle with them. They have a level 82 Greedent, a level 84 Umbreon, a level 83 Mabosstiff, a level 85 Sylveon, a level 82 Cloyster, and a level 84 Leafeon. You get 33600 Pokédollars for winning.

Chase the Pokémon

Fly to Loyalty Plaza or go west and follow the road there. When you arrive, there will be a cutscene. Afterward, talk to Nemona or the weird pokémon and you will battle Nemona. She has a level 86 Lycanroc, a level 86 Pawmot, a level 86 Goodra, a level 86 Kommo-o, a level 86 Ribombee, and a level 87 starter pokémon (Quaquaval if you chose Sprigatito, Meowscarada if you chose Fuecoco, Skeledirge if you chose Quaxly) which she Terastallizes. You get 20880 Pokédollars for winning.

Defeat the Mysterious Pokémon

Note that there will be special lines of dialogue if you use Ogerpon, Okidogi, Munkidori, and/or Fezandipiti during the next battle.

You can optionally heal up at the Pokémon Center before you continue. Then, in Loyalty Plaza, talk to the weird pokémon near Nemona, and say Yes if you're ready. You will battle Pecharunt. It is Poison/Ghost, and weak to Ground, Ghost, Psychic, and Dark attacks. It has high Defense. You can't catch it until you defeat it, so just focus on defeating it. Its ability is Poison Puppeteer, which causes pokémon to become confused if they are poisoned by Pecharunt. Its moves are Toxic, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, and Malignant Chain.

After you defeat Pecharunt, you can catch it. Choose whichever type of poké ball you prefer; you are guaranteed to catch it.

Go Home

When you're ready to go home, go outside. There will be a cutscene.

Afterward, some new features are unlocked:

• You will be able to invite Nemona, Arven, and Penny to the League Club Room in Blueberry Academy.
• Kieran's Dorm Room is also added as a location in Blueberry Academy.
• You will be able to encounter Carmine and Kieran in the League Club Room from time to time.
