Crispin of the Elite Four

After you join Blueberry Academy's BB League, you can take on Crispin's trial for a chance to battle him.

Before you Begin

Before you begin, you will need at least 50 BP. You might want to have at least 100 BP before you begin, because the additional 50 BP will make things easier during the trial. If you don't have enough, you can press right on the directional pad to see your current BBQs, which you can complete to get more BP.

Go to Savanna Plaza

Savanna Plaza is located in the southwest part of the Savanna Biome in the Terarium. Talk to the person behind the desk near the self-serve healing station. As mentioned above, you will need at least 50 BP to start the trial.

After you pay 50 BP, Crispin will explain the trial: he wants you to make a super-spicy sandwich using the ingredients that you obtain by negotiating with the League Club members in the area.

Negotiate for Ingredients

Approach each League Club member and they will have a speech bubble that shows what they are offering.

Step 1: Get Potato Salad

First, talk to the club member near Crispin to battle Julienne the Student, who has the following pokémon:

Level 75 Camerupt:
- Very Weak to Water moves
- Weak to Ground moves
- Immune to Electric moves
- Strong against Poison, Bug, Steel, Fire, Fairy moves
Level 75 Eelektross:
- Weak to Ground moves
- Strong against Flying, Steel, Electric moves

You get 6600 Pokédollars for winning. You will get 1 Potato Salad. Your pokémon will be healed up.

Step 2: Get Onion, Cucumber, and Prosciutto

There is a club member who says "three ingredients if you give me something". Talk to that club member, and they want potato salad. Hand it over to get 1 Onion, 1 Cucumber, and 1 Prosciutto.

Step 3: Get Chili Sauce

Talk to the club member who says "chili sauce or ketchup" and trade cucumbers to get chili sauce.

Step 4: Get Mayonnaise

Talk to the club member who says "mayonnaise" and you will battle Carmela the Student, who has two level 75 Pyroar (male and female):

- Weak to Fighting, Ground, Rock, Water moves
- Immune to Ghost moves
- Strong against Bug, Steel, Fire, Grass, Ice, Fairy moves

You get 6600 Pokédollars for winning, and 1 Mayonnaise. Carmela will heal up your pokémon.

Step 5: Get Egg, Olive Oil, and Vinegar

There is a League Club member talking to another club member near some cactus who says "three ingredients for the right answer." The correct answer is mayonnaise. Hand it over to get 1 Egg, 1 Olive Oil, and 1 Vinegar.

Step 6: Get a Jalapeño

Talk to the club member who says "Trade you a Jalapeño" and hand over some Prosciutto and Olive Oil to get 1 Jalapeño.

Step 7: Get Another Jalapeño

There is a League Club member behind the rock that Crispin is standing near. You can talk to him to either battle him or pay 50 BP to get some jalapeños. If you battle him, Roux the Student has the following pokémon:

Level 75 Bellossom:
- Weak to Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire, Ice moves
- Strong against Ground, Water, Grass, Electric moves
Level 75 Torkoal:
- Weak to Ground, Rock, Water moves
- Strong against Bug, Steel, Fire, Grass, Ice, Fairy moves
Level 75 Magmar:
- Weak to Ground, Rock, Water moves
- Strong against Bug, Steel, Fire, Grass, Ice, Fairy moves
Level 75 Vileplume:
- Weak to Flying, Fire, Psychic, Ice moves
- Very Strong against Grass moves
- Strong against Fighting, Water, Electric, Fairy moves

You get 7500 Pokédollars for winning. You will get 1 Jalapeño. Roux will heal up your pokémon.

Step 8: Get Mustard

Talk to the club member who says "marmalade or mustard" and hand over your vinegar to get 1 Mustard.

Step 9: Get Chorizo

Talk to the student who says "broader chorizons" and hand over eggs to get 1 Chorizo.

Step 10: Talk to Crispin

You can press X to check your ingredients list. You should have 2 jalapeños, 1 onion, 1 chili sauce, 1 mayonnaise, 1 mustard, and 1 chorizo. If you have those ingredients, talk to Crispin and you will start making the sandwich. Don't use the mayonnaise, but use all of the other ingredients when you make the sandwich.

Battle Crispin

Afterward, you will go with Crispin to the battle court in the plaza. If you want to prepare first, you can say No. When you're ready, you can talk to Crispin to start the Double Battle. He has the following pokémon.
