After you explore Snowpoint City, you proceed to challenge the trainers at Snowpoint Gym.
Slide on the Ice
Whenever you step on the ice floors in the Snowpoint Gym, you will slide in a straight line until you hit an obstacle or snow on the floor. There are snowballs blocking the paths in the gym, and you can only break them by sliding into them at high speed. You can slide down slopes to increase your speed.
Battle Trainers
Go to the northern edge of the snow near the Gym entrance, then slide to the east. You will stop at a snowball at the east side of the Gym. Go north onto the single tile of snow, then go north again to the two tiles of snow. From the lowest of those two tiles, slide west. You will break a snowball and stop at some stairs on the west side of the gym. Slide west from those stairs, then south, then west up the stairs and onto the patch of snow to the west of the stairs.
