How to Complete the Quest

Go up to the Zonai Survey Team's tents in the ruins north of Lantern Lake (northwest of the Chief's House). You will find Ollie sleeping on a stone slab, mumbling in his sleep about Hearty Truffles. If you talk to Gordi, who is standing nearby, he tells you about a Hearty Truffle that he saw at the base of a nearby waterfall. If you don't have a Hearty Truffle, you can go there to get it.

When you have a Hearty Truffle, drop it near Ollie to wake him up. Then you can go back to the inn and talk to Dai to complete the quest.

Dai gives you a bottle of Sticky Elixir.
