As soon as you trip the wire to your left, the cord will be cut and the conveyor belts will move the Starite toward the spikes, which will destroy it. You have to find ways to prevent it from reaching those spikes.

1. Put an IMMOVABLE GATE (WOOD) to the left of the spikes, then put WINGS on Maxwell and fly up to the Starite.
2. Put an INVINCIBLE BRICK WALL to the left of the spikes, then put a JETPACK on Maxwell and fly up to the Starite.
3. Put an INDESTRUCTIBLE TANK BARRIER to the left of the spikes, then put a WINGED HAT on Maxwell and fly up to the Starite.
