Adaman and Irida demand that Commander Kamado do something about the frenzied Kleavor, and all agree to send you to study it.

Report to your Captain

Go downstairs and approach Cyllene. There will be a cutscene. You will learn of Kleavor's location and warden.

Talk to Bagin

When you try to go outside, Bagin will talk to you. Go talk to him, and ask him to teach you how to carry more things. It costs 100 Pokédollars. The second upgrade costs 200 Pokédollars, and so on. You can talk to Bagin whenever you want to add another space to your Satchel.

Go to Grandtree Arena

When you approach the Front Gate of the village, there will be a cutscene. You will get 3 Super Potions.

When you leave the village, go to Heights Camp.

As you make your way to Grandtree Arena, you will encounter an alpha Bibarel. Battling it is optional.

Meet Lian

When you reach your destination, you meet Lian. Say "I'll do anything", and you will battle Lian's level 15 Goomy.

After you defeat Lian's Goomy, there will be a cutscene, and your Arc Phone will beep. A guide will appear. It explains that you can press X while viewing the map to travel instantly to base camps.

Head to a Base Camp

Open the map and press X to return to a base camp. When you arrive, approach Professor Laventon, and there will be a cutscene. You will get paid and receive points for any Survey Reports and Research Tasks you have.

Then you will automatically return to Jubilife Village. There will be a cutscene.

Meet Mai

When you approach the Front Gate of the village, you will encounter Mai. You will automatically go with her, and there will be a cutscene. You will receive a Celestica Flute. You will also get the Mind Plate.

Press + to summon a pokémon to ride on. You will need to watch out for pokémon attacks while riding, and be careful not to fall from high places.

Work with Lian and Irida

Go back to Grandtree Arena and talk to Lian. After a cutscene, you will need to battle Irida's level 17 Glaceon.

Afterward, Irida heals your pokémon, and there will be a cutscene.

Soothe Kleavor

Throw balms at Noble Kleavor until its frenzy gauge reaches zero. Press Y while tilting the left stick in the desired direction to dodge out of the way of its attacks. You may sometimes create an opening in the Noble's defenses. If this happens, throw a partner pokémon at it to battle it. If you defeat it, the Noble's guard will be down temporarily. Be sure to throw a lot of balms at it during this time.

You can tell when Kleavor is about to dash toward you by watching for when its eyes flash. Dodge out of the way, and try to make Kleavor dash into a tree or wall, which will make it become stunned for a moment. While it is stunned, throw a partner pokémon at it to start a battle. Win the battle and you can throw a lot of balms at it while it is stunned.

After the battle, you will get the Insect Plate. You will also get 3 Sitrus Berries. Irida will heal your pokémon.

Report to Commander Kamado

When you are ready, return to the village. You can talk to Professor Laventon at a base camp to automatically go there. There will be a cutscene. Go into Galaxy Hall and go up the stairs until you reach Commander Kamado. There will be a cutscene. You will learn how to make Smoke Bombs.

Meet Vessa

In the cutscene after that, you will meet Vessa and receive an Odd Keystone, and will be asked to catch all 107 wisps scattered around Hisui.

Catch the Wisp

Go across the nearby bridge and touch the purple flame. It will go into the Odd Keystone. This starts Request 22: Eerie Apparitions in the Night.

Meet Someone New

Afterward, you will meet Arezu. This begins the mission Arezu's Predicament.
