The wells in Hateno Village are all connected underground and contain ore deposits and a few small treasures.

Features of the Hateno Village Wells

Beneath the Hateno Village North Well there are two boulders blocking a tunnel entrance. Use Ultrahand to move them out of the way. Beyond, a Chuchu will attack. After that, there is an ore deposit. Then there is a pond, and above it, you find the entrance to Hateno Village West Well. Going farther, you find more Chuchus and ore deposits, as well as a wall of boulders and a wall of vines. You can use Ascend in this area to reach the inside of the locked shed for the quest Reede's Secret.

Beyond the wall of boulders, there is a Like Like that is guarding a rare ore deposit. The tunnel then leads to a dead end that goes up to the Hateno Village East Well.

Beyond the wall of vines, there are numerous Keese, as well as a wooden chest floating in the water. Use Ultrahand to move the wooden board near the treasure chest, then stand on the wooden board and move the wooden chest onto it to open it. The chest contains a Shield of the Mind's Eye.

Beyond that, there is some water that has the Hateno Village South Well above it.

Then there is another tunnel, which leads to a wall of boulders. Break down the boulders to find two Horriblins.
