The Ancient Altar Ruins are beneath the sand whirlpools in the southeastern part of the Gerudo Desert.

Cave Location

The Ancient Altar Ruins can be reached by going down any of the twelve sand whirlpools around -2531, -3697, 0010, in the southeastern part of the Gerudo Desert.

Cave Features

Inside the Ancient Altar Ruins, you will find Gibdos, Moth Gibdos, Electric Chuchus, and Electric Keese.

There are numerous Ore Deposits, as well as some Luminous Ore Deposits and Rare Ore Deposits.

You can find one of Misko's Treasures, the Phantom Greaves, if you go down the whirlpool at -2520, -3729, 0003. This treasure is only accessible from this specific whirlpool. The cave's Bubbulfrog is also in this room.
