Rec Room

After going through the lounge with Luna, you choose to ally with her and go through the blue door.

WARNING! If you are playing the 3DS version, don't save the game during the room escape! There is a bug that can erase your save data! If you want to save, jump to a novel sequence and save there before starting the room escape.

Collect Items

Go over to the rabbit ride and take the extension cord.

Use the extension cord on the jukebox.

Take the billiards poster from the wall.

Take the billiard balls from on top of the refrigerator. Take the scrap of felt and a bottle of luminol from inside the refrigerator.

Take the poster to the right of the dart board.

Go over to the suits of armor. Take the pool cue, then switch your inventory so your hand is empty, then take the lance, empty your hand, take the axe, empty your hand, then take the trident.

Give the axe to the suit of armor standing to the left of the one with the shield. Press the circular button in front of the stage to make the armor break open the shield with the axe.

Take the allen wrench from inside the shield.

Play Billiards, sort of

Use the scrap of felt on the pool table. Use the luminol on the pool table.

Turn off the room light with the switch next to the doors. Go to the pool table and make a note of the letters:
CA
FD
BE

Turn the lights back on. Now use the billiard balls on the pool table.

In the upper-right, there are balls of different colors. Some of them also have lines above and below the letter. Therefore, each letter corresponds to a numbered billiard ball from the poster that you found on the wall:

  • Ball A is solid purple, so it's 4.
  • Ball B is solid yellow, so it's 1.
  • Ball C is orange with lines above and below, so it's 13.
  • Ball D is solid blue, so it's 2.
  • Ball E is solid green, so it's 6.
  • Ball F is yellow with lines above and below, so it's 9.

Each time you drop one of the white balls into a hole in the pool table, one of the letters in the upper right disappears, in alphabetical order. A disappears when you drop the first ball, B disappears when you drop the second ball, etc.

Notice that you can scroll down to a second set of white balls by tapping the arrow to the right of the white balls.

The glow-in-the-dark numbers on the pool table that you revealed with the luminol tell you which order to drop the balls. Then the billiard poster that you found on the wall, along with the letters above the white balls in the pool table puzzle, tell you which number corresponds with which letter.

Therefore, to solve the puzzle, perform the following steps in this order:

  • Drop ball 4 into the upper-right hole
  • Drop ball 1 into the bottom-left hole
  • Tap the arrow to the right of the white balls, then drop ball 13 into the upper-left hole
  • Tap the arrow to the right of the white balls, then drop ball 2 into the middle-right hole
  • Drop ball 6 into the bottom-right hole
  • Tap the arrow to the right of the white balls, then drop ball 9 into the middle-left hole

When you do it correctly, some dart tips will fall down into the ball return. Take them.

Combine the pool cue with the allen wrench. You will get a round-tipped allen wrench.

Use the round-tipped allen wrench on the coin box of the rabbit ride. Take the sun tokens.

Use a sun token on the rabbit ride. K hops on, and Sigma and Alice are deeply disturbed. You get a photo for posterity.

Look at the photo in your inventory, then rotate the photo to see Z9 and D1.

Use a coin on the jukebox. Enter a code from the back of the photo and take the gold disc that comes out. Enter the other code (no need to insert another coin) and take the second gold disc that comes out.

Use the gold discs on the frames to the right of the jukebox. This unlocks the frame in between the gold discs.

Open the frame that just unlocked and take the darts. Combine the dart case with the dart tips to get darts.

Get a Safe Password

Examine the darts case in your inventory. When the lid of the case is closed, there are greater-than signs between each dart color: Red > Blue > Green. Inside the dart case, it says SCORE 91. This clue means that you have to score 91 points by throwing one dart at a red spot, one dart at a blue spot, and one dart at a green spot. Furthermore, the score from the blue spot has to be higher than the score from the green spot, and the score from the red spot has to be higher than the score from the blue spot.

Use the darts on the dart board to start the darts puzzle.

There is a note that you found to the right of the dart board that explains that darts thrown at the outer circle are multiplied by 1, darts thrown in the middle ring are multiplied by 2, and darts thrown at the inner ring are multiplied by 3.

There is only one way to solve the puzzle: Hit the red 17, the blue 11, and the green inner 8.

Tap the monitor to get a safe password.

Get another Safe Password

There is another way to interpret the clue on the darts case. The dart case shows that the red is the smallest dart, the green is the biggest dart, and the blue is the medium-sized dart. Therefore, if you ignore the greater-than signs on the lid of the darts case, the relationship becomes Green > Blue > Red. You can get another password by getting a score of 91 where the score from the blue spot is higher than the core from the red spot, and the score from the green spot is higher than the score from the blue spot.

Check the dart board again to do the puzzle again.

There is only one way to solve the puzzle: Hit the red 6 (between 11 and 8), the blue 11, and the green 20.

After the Escape

After escaping the rec room, some events will happen and you will have to choose ally or betray. As you can see in the in-game flowchart, this is the final choice in this path. If you choose Ally, and if K betrays you, he can leave. If you choose Betray, neither Sigma nor K will die, but neither of you can leave, either.
