There are special spots in different areas of your farm, the crossroads, and the villages where your pet might be able to find hidden items.
Getting a Pet
To go treasure hunting, you need to get a pet. Read the Pets page to find out how to get a pet.
Going for Treasure Hunts
If you are walking your pet, and you walk onto one of the special treasure hunting spots, a question mark will appear over your head. Press A and your pet will search the area for hidden items. After searching, if your pet has a smiley face over its head, that means that it found hidden items. Press A to check on your pet and get the items that it found. Treasure hunts always give your pet experience, even if they are not able to find any hidden items at the treasure hunting spot. The following table lists all of treasure hunt locations, and the items that can be found there.
