Check on the blackboard in Professor Laventon's office in Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village to accept this request.

Talk to Yota

Talk to Yota in Jubilife Village. He asks you to catch a strange-looking Ponyta that has been seen in Horseshoe Plains in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

Go to the Horseshoe Plains

Go to Obsidian Fieldlands and go to the guidance marker at the Horseshoe Plains. The unusual Ponyta will appear. Go to it and try to catch it.

Report to Yota

After you catch it, go back to Jubilife Village and talk to Yota.
