After obtaining the Leaves of GreenWood that prove that you are from GreenWood, the rafts take you to the Light Shrine.
Light Shrine 1F
There are large round Fire Spirits that bounce around this area. You can't hurt them with your sword, but you can paralyze them.
There are barriers of light in this area. Go to the east and you will find a Lizard Man lair. Clear it to remove one of the light barriers. Go east and kill the Ghosts to remove a barrier to the north. Kill the Lizard Men that come out of the lair to the north and clear their lair to remove a barrier to the north.
Go north past the barrier that you just got rid of. You'll find a lair of Shadow Lizard Men. Clear their lair to remove two barriers. Go west, then go south until you reach a Fire Walker lair. Kill the Fire Walkers and clear the lair. This removes the nearby barriers, giving you a shortcut to the exit, as well as opening the path to the west.
Go west to find a Shadow Lizard Man lair. Clear the lair to open the path to the north. Go west to find another Shadow Lizard Man lair. Clear their lair to open the path north and south.
Go north until you reach a Fire Walker lair. Clear it to release a squirrel.
Go south and clear the Fire Walker lair. Clear that lair and go south past the barrier that opened. Go east to make the Ghosts float toward you. Kill them and clear the lair to open the path to the east. Go down the stairs there.
Light Shrine B1F
Go to the northeast corner of this dark area to find a lair of Shadow Lizard Men. Clear that lair to open the path to the north.
Go north past the torch, then go east, then south. You will find another Shadow Lizard Man lair. Clear their lair to release a crocodile.
Continue going south until you have to go west. You will soon encounter a Shadow Lizard Man lair and a Fire Walker lair close together. The Fire Walker lair is on the bottom. Clear it to release a mole. Then clear the Shadow Lizard Man lair to reveal a warp tile to the GreenWood Shrine. Visit the Shrine to save the game if you wish. Then go west from the warp tile in the Light Shrine.
Go west and north to find a Ghost lair. Kill the ghosts and clear the lair to open the path to the north.
Shield Bracelet
Before continuing, you may wish to return to GreenWood and talk to the mole in the northeast corner. She will ask you to take her to her house. Walk to the mole hole that has a rock next to it and make sure the mole stands on it, then talk to the mole. She will tell you to wait there, but you should go down the hole. Open the chest to get Monmo's Ribbon. Now leave the mole hole and go into the mole hole to the east. Talk to the mole that is standing in front of another mole and show him Monmo's Ribbon. He will disappear. Talk to the mole to the south and he gives you the Shield Bracelet. Equip this bracelet to reduce all damage by 1/2.
Ice Armor
Go west from the mole who gave you the Shield Bracelet. Outside, use the Dream Rod on the sleeping stump. In the dream, go east and step on the lair. Then talk to the bird to leave the dream. After that, go to the big tree that goes to the GreenWood shrine and you will find a path that opened up to the right of the tree. Use that path and go west behind the big tree. The chest here contains Ice Armor.
Back in the Light Shrine
Return to the Light Shrine using the warp tile from the GreenWood Shrine. Go west, then north, then east. There is an exit that leads to the boss of the shrine.
Stone Lion Heads
The three statues are called Stone Lion Heads. At the beginning of the battle, they are not moving. You have to wake up the leftmost statue first, then the rightmost statue, then the middle statue.
Lighting Head
The green one (on the left) is the Lightning Head. It will move around the room and then stop, and it will spin around and shoot lightning in four directions. Stand diagonally away from the Lightning Head to avoid the lightning, and hit the Lightning Head while it is spitting out lightning.
Water Head
After you kill the Lightning Head, go to the blue head (on the right). It's the Water Head. The Water Head moves around at random and spits out pools of water that you can get rid of by hitting them with your sword. You can avoid damage if you stand close to the red tile between the Fire and Water altars. Hit the Water Head when it passes by.
Fire Head
After you kill the Water Head, the middle head wakes up. It's the Fire Head. The Fire Head moves around at random and spits out fireballs that move toward you like a snake. Stand to the right of the stone platform where the Fire Head was first sitting and attack the Fire Head from there.
Get the Green Stone
After the heads are gone, open the lair in the upper-left corner of the room to release the Wood's Guardian. Go visit the Wood's Guardian to receive the Green Stone. This will allow you to go to the next area: St. Elle's Seabed.
