Turkey Day

On Turkey Day, Franklin will be in your town plaza. Festivities start at 9AM and continue until midnight.

Get Ingredients for Franklin

Between 9AM and Midnight on Turkey Day, talk to Franklin in your plaza. He will mention a dish that he wants to prepare, along with the local ingredients that he needs for it. If he asks for fish, check the list of bugs, fish, and deep sea creatures for information on how to find it.

Give him the ingredients that he asks for, and one of the four Turkey Day dishes will be complete. Franklin will give you a Turkey Day item.

Fish Meunière Northern Hemisphere:
1 Sea Bass
1 Dab, OR 1 Olive Flounder, OR 1 Red Snapper		 These can be fished from the ocean. Sea Bass, Olive Flounder, and Red Snapper have a large shadow. Dab have a medium shadow. Or do ingredient exchanges with villagers.Turkey Day floor

Turkey Day Recipes

After you have helped Franklin make all four dishes, he gives you the recipes for all four, so you can cook them yourself. They will be automatically added to your DIY app.

If You Don't Have the Ingredients

If you aren't able to get the ingredients yourself, talk to the villagers who are in their houses. They will ask you for an ingredient, and if you give it to them, they will give you one of the ingredients that you need. Afterward, if you leave their house and go back in, you can talk to them to start another ingredient exchange with them.

Secret Ingredients

After you help Franklin finish the four main courses, he asks you for ingredients that might improve his dishes. Villagers in their houses will give you clues to these if you exchange ingredients with them.

Each time you give him one of the four secret ingredients, you get a piece of Turkey Day furniture. If you bring all four secret ingredients, you will get a set of Turkey Day DIY crafting recipes that are automatically added to your DIY app, if you don't have them already. You can also purchase the Turkey Day DIY recipe set from the shop starting the day after Turkey Day. The secret ingredients are:
