After retrieving the Teapot from the Mt. Kress temple and using the spirits' tears on Neil's parents, you meet the people of Native's Village and go to Ankor Wat.

Explore Outside

There are many enemies outside. There are Shrubbers that look just like the bushes around this area, except the Shrubbers will move slightly. There are Gorgons, which you can only kill by doing 3HP damage to the extended head before it retracts, then killing the body. If the head retracts, its HP is restored, so you have to kill the head quickly. Try charging up your Psycho Dash to kill the Gorgons' heads. There are also Zip Flies in this area. They move very quickly. After you get rid of all of the monsters outside, your HP increases.

To go inside, go up to the north middle of the area and go into the door.

Ankor Wat, Inside, Southern Room

To the east there is a floating Zombie. It can split into two and become temporarily invincible. After you kill it, go east. A Gold Cap will fall from the ceiling. Kill it, then go east and kill the other Gold Cap that falls, and kill the Zombie east of there. Then go to the northwest corner of this room and use the ramp (be sure to run toward it) to reach the chest, which contains Red Jewel #37.

Go east to the next section, and go north. Kill the two Gold Caps that fall from the ceiling near the top, then go north to continue on to the next room.

Ankor Wat, Inside, Eastern Room

Go north and kill the Zombie, then use Spin Dash to go over the ramp to the north. Up above, you encounter a purple Frenzie. It moves along the wall and it will move more quickly the more you damage it. Keep going north and kill the Gold Cap that falls from the ceiling, and kill the Wall Walker that shoots energy and drops worms. Go north from there and kill the two Frenzies. After you hit them, try standing on the stairs and hitting the Frenzies when they pass by. Go north and kill the two Wall Walkers. Then use the Psycho Slider to pass through the mouth that opens (run toward the mouth and then press the attack button to slide).

After going through the mouth, go north and kill the Zombie and the two Gold Caps that fall from the ceiling. After you kill all of the enemies in this room, your DEF increases. Go north to the next room.

Ankor Wat, Inside, Northern Room

Go up the stairs and kill the two Frenzies. Then drop down the ledge and you will fall into another room.

Ankor Wat, Inside, Basement Room

Wait for a while and the lights will turn on. Go west and up the stairs. Go south along the raised ledge, then go down the stairs at the end and go west. Kill the two Zombies, then go west and kill the two Frenzies and the Zombie. Then go to the very northwest corner of the room and kill the Wall Walker. Your DEF will increase and a set of stairs will appear. Go up to return to the upper area.

Ankor Wat, Inside, Northern Room, part 2

If you want to kill all of the monsters in this area, go east and kill the Zombie, then keep going east. Kill the four Wall Walkers. Your HP will increase. Then go to the southwest corner of this area and go south to continue to the next room.

Ankor Wat, Inside, Western Room

Go south, but be careful of the two Gold Caps on the ledge. When you go close to them, they jump down to the lower level, causing a bunch of rocks to fall from the ceiling. Stay away from the shadows to avoid the rocks. Run toward the crack in the southern wall and press the attack button to use Psycho Slider and get through the narrow space. Kill the two Gold Caps and the two Frenzies.

Use another Psycho Dash to slide through the southern wall. Two more Gold Caps will fall from the ceiling, but they are up on the ledges. Your flute can reach them while they are up on the ledges, so try to hit them while they are up there. But the Gold Caps might fall down to your level, making rocks fall from above. Kill the Gold Caps, then kill the Frenzie.

Go south and kill the two Wall Walkers. Go south and walk up the stairs to reach the chest, which contains an Herb. Then go up to the ramp north of the chest and use Spin Dash on it. You will jump over the gap and reach the ledge to the south. Go south and kill the two Gold Caps. Your STR will increase. Go south to the next area.

Ankor Wat, Inside, Southern Room, part 2

Go south and kill the Zombie, then go east and kill the Wall Walker. Then go east and kill the ten Frenzies.

Keep going east and you will be near where you started. Go up the stairs and kill the Wall Walker. Your STR will increase, and some stairs will appear to the south, giving you a shortcut back to the entrance.

When you are ready to move on, go north.

Ankor Wat, Garden

This area is a maze. If it seems like your path is blocked, make sure to hit the bushes in case some of them are secretly Shrubbers.

There are 39 monsters out here, and there is a Dark Space on the east side that you can see on your map as a blue dot. You have to go through the entire maze to reach the Dark Space.

To get there, go west from the entrance, then north, then west up some stairs, then north until you reach more stairs. Go east across those stairs and keep going east, past some stairs to the north, until you reach another set of stairs in the northeast corner. Use those stairs and go south, then use the stairs that you find in the southeast corner. Go north to find a skeleton, then go south and west to reach the Dark Space. Transform into Freedan, then save and go back out. Kill the remaining monsters in this area, including a Shrubber hiding near the northwest corner that you can only get rid of if you use Freedan's Dark Friar power. When you kill all of the enemies in this area, your HP goes up.

Go to the stairs in the north middle of this area and go north to reach the next area.

Ankor Wat, North of Garden

Kill the Gold Cap northwest of where you entered, then go east. Kill the Frenzies, then go northeast to reach the next room.

Ankor Wat, Northeast of Garden

Kill the Gold Cap, then go north and kill another Gold Cap. Go north and use Dark Friar to kill the two Frenzies. One of them opens the passageway to the north. Kill the two Wall Walkers to increase your DEF. Then go north and enter the Dark Space to receive the Earthquaker ability.

Go back the way you came, all the way to the entrance of this area. Go west past the entrance, then go up the stairs. Go west and kill the Gold Cap that falls from the ceiling. You will see another Gold Cap standing off to the side in the northwest area. Don't go near it, because if you do, it will block the passageway. If that happens, leave this area and come back. Jump down from the ledge and press the attack button while falling. You'll cause an earthquake, immobilizing the Gold Cap. Go over and kill it, then go north to the next area.

Ankor Wat, Northwest of Garden

Go north through this room, killing Zombies, Wall Walkers, Gold Caps, and Frenzies. When you have killed all of the monsters, your HP will increase. Go north to find a chest that contains Red Jewel #38. Go south and use the southeast exit.

Ankor Wat, North of Garden, part 2

Go east and kill the Wall Walkers. If you killed all of the monsters in this area, your STR increases. Go east and use the exit.

Ankor Wat, Second Garden

You can find a skeleton if you go all the way west, then go north, staying to the left of the stairs. Read the skeleton's journal if you wish. It has a clue to a puzzle that you will encounter later.

Press START to view the map and see where the monsters are. There are four Gorgons, and you can reach them by falling down from the walls of the building. Don't use Earthquaker here, because if you do, the Gorgons will be stunned while their necks are retracted, so you won't be able to harm them until they start moving again. After getting rid of the four Gorgons, go north. You can't reach the final monster in this area, so just use the north exit to go to the next area.

Ankor Wat, Main Hall West

Go all the way west, then north. Kill all of the Zombies as you make your way along the path. Kill the two Frenzies, then ignore the stairs and keep going east. Kill the Zombie to increase your STR. You won't be able to reach the Dark Space yet, so just go south from it and exit the area.

Ankor Wat, Second Garden Northeast

Go south and then east up the stairs. Kill the Shrubber that is east of the stairs. Your DEF will increase. Check the sparkle on the ground near where the Shrubber was. It's the Black Crystal Glasses.

Now go back the way you came until you reach the stairs that you ignored. Go up those stairs.

Ankor Wat, Main Hall 2F

Equip and use the Black Crystal Glasses. (Read the previous section to find out how to get them if you don't have them.) When you use them, the brightness of the area goes back to normal.

Kill all of the Frenzies that crawl along the walls. There are five of them. When you're done, go to the east side of this area and jump into the hole. You will arrive at the Dark Space that you couldn't reach earlier. Go in and transform back into Will.

Go back outside and fall down from the ledge, then go north and follow the path until you reach the stairs. Go up.

Go to the east side of the area and look for the crack in the wall that is to the south of the pit that you jumped into a moment ago. Use Psycho Slider to go through the crack. Go south and kill the Zombie, then go west, past some stairs, and kill the second Zombie. Your HP will increase. Then fall into the hole in the southwest corner of this area.

You will land on a ledge near a chest. The chest contains Red Jewel #39. Jump down from the ledge, then go west and then north. Follow the path around and go up the stairs.

Go to the southwest corner and slide through the crack, then go south and follow the path to the stairs that you ignored a moment ago. Go up.

Ankor Wat, Main Hall 3F

Go east and kill the Frenzie with a Psycho Slide. Keep going east to find another Frenzie. Kill it, then go back the way that you came. Go to the southwest corner of the area and kill the Zombie and the Gold Cap. Slide through the crack to the north, then go northeast and kill the Zombie there. The rest of the enemies are hard to reach, so just go to the northeast corner and go up the stairs.

Ankor Wat, Main Hall 4F

Use a Psycho Slide on each of the Frenzies near the stairs. Go west and then south, and kill the Zombie there. Go east and ignore the first southern path, and go down the second southern path. Follow the path. A Gold Cap falls from the ceiling. Kill it and the Frenzies that you encounter. When you kill all of the enemies, your HP increases. Go up the stairs at the end and open the chest to get Red Jewel #40.

Go back the way that you came and go south down the path that you ignored earlier. Fall into the hole there.

Ankor Wat, Main Hall 3F, part 2

Kill the Frenzie, then go south. Eventually a Gold Cap will fall down from the ceiling. Kill it, then go west. Kill the Zombie, then go southwest and kill the Frenzies and Gold Cap that you encounter. When you have killed all of the monsters in this area, your DEF increases. Go to the northwest corner of the area and use the stairs there.

Ankor Wat, Main Hall 4F, part 2

Go east and follow the path. Go up the stairs at the end.

Ankor Wat, Main Hall 5F

Go north and talk to the soul. After a brief cutscene, you receive the Gorgon Flower, which will allow you to cure people who have been turned to stone.

There is nothing left to do in Ankor Wat, so you should return to the entrance. Go south to leave this room.

Ankor Wat, Main Hall 4F, part 3

Go west and then use the stairs that are in the northwest corner.

Ankor Wat, Main Hall 3F, part 3

Go south and jump down the ledge, then go east and use the stairs.

Ankor Wat, Main Hall 2F, part 2

Go east and slide through the crack, then go north and use the stairs.

Ankor Wat, Main Hall 1F

Go southwest and follow the path. Go out through the exit in the south middle of the room.

Ankor Wat, Second Garden, part 2

Go south and use the exit in the south wall.

Ankor Wat, Lower Floors

Go west and use the exit. Go north, then west, then south and use the exit. Go south, then east, and use the exit. In the big garden, go west, up the stairs, south, up the stairs, then make your way to the south middle to exit the garden. Go south until you return to the map. Choose to go back to the Natives' Village.

Natives' Village

Go into the eastern house and use the Gorgon Flower on each of the statues. Talk to the middle girl to get Red Jewel #41.

When you're ready, talk to Kara to go to Dao.
