After you go through Meteor Falls, you can go back to Route 112 and access the cable car to Mt. Chimney.

Fight Team Aqua/Magma

After you get off the cable car, go outside. You find Team Aqua and Team Magma fighting each other. Go northeast. After you pass a big group of four people with four pokémon, go west, then start going northwest.

You have to battle a Team Aqua/Magma Grunt. In Ruby and Sapphire, he has a level 20 Zubat and level 20 Poochyena. In Emerald, he just has a level 20 Zubat, but a nearby Grunt with a level 20 Numel might join him for a Double Battle.

Go north. If you are playing Ruby or Emerald, you will have to fight Magma Admin Tabitha. In Sapphire, you will have to fight Aqua Admin Matt. In Ruby, Tabitha has two level 20 Numels and a level 20 Poochyena. In Emerald, Tabitha has a level 18 Numel, a level 20 Poochyena, a level 22 Numel, and a level 22 Zubat. In Sapphire, Matt has two level 20 Carvanhas and a level 20 Poochyena.

After you defeat Tabitha or Matt, go north. In Ruby and Emerald, you will find Magma Leader Maxie up ahead. In Sapphire, it's Aqua Leader Archie. Talk to him and you have to battle. Maxie has a level 24 Mightyena, level 24 Golbat, and level 25 Camerupt. Archie has a level 24 Mightyena, level 24 Golbat, and level 25 Sharpedo.

After you defeat the leader, the other team's leader thanks you. Check on the machine to get the Meteorite. Then go south, past the cable car, and use the south exit to enter Jagged Pass. You can go back to Mt. Chimney to find a bunch of new trainers in the area. Otherwise, continue on to Jagged Pass.
