New Eden's Yoiul Festival to mark the end of one year and the start of a new one has become a universally popular family holiday, especially among those living and working in the space industries. Personnel transport traffic increases markedly during this period to accommodate the movement of workers visiting their families, and safety aboard spaceships is a paramount issue of concern. Using old spacer tales of clone blanks coming to life and wreaking havoc aboard ship, InterBus has issued a series of animated safety displays warning passengers and crew alike against hazards, carelessness, and waste. Although cartoonish, the safety displays deal with serious risks to life and limb aboard a working spaceship. |

| Description | At the end of YC120, roughly in the middle of the sixteenth year since the inception of independent capsuleers, the notorious Fort Knocks was destroyed in the culmination of a determined campaign to destroy the first Keepstar citadel ever built by capsuleers. The defense of Fort Knocks, anchored deep in the W-space system of J115405, was equally determined but in the final battle the Keepstar fell, ending the fortress's domination of the star system nicknamed "Rage". Since its construction in YC118 by the Hard Knocks Citizens alliance, the Keepstar had endured through many battles but the assault by a coalition of foes lead by The Initiative chipped away at Fort Knocks's defensive network of starbases, eventually achieving local space superiority and dooming New Eden's first Keepstar to its inevitable fate. |

| Description | Capsuleers are known to use Galnet discussion boards and forums just as much as anyone else. In response to what appeared to be a leak of intelligence from a rival capsuleer alliance, an Amarr capsuleer known as Feawen responded with the simple, but now famous, "Feawen likes this." It was deemed sufficiently funny by her peers that it became a commonplace remark to leave in response to nearly any discussion, and it was a particular mark of honor to have Feawen herself respond to a discussion thread with her trademark quip. This massive tome contains a full list of everything that Feawen has been stated to like since the beginning of this odd (but typical to capsuleers) linguistic phenomenon. Literary critics around New Eden have noted with some humor, however, that it might have been easier and more cost-effective to simply list the things that Feawen does not like. |
