Lyle is a weasel who sells you a very shady insurance policy. He always hangs around your house on Saturday. The insurance policy will pay you 100 bells every time you get stung by a bee (which isn't very good, considering that if you caught the bee and sold it, you'd get 4500 bells), and you get 100 bells if Crazy Redd sells you a forged painting. Lyle is generally considered to be "in cahoots" with Crazy Redd. Lyle does at least let you choose the day when Crazy Redd appears in your town.
