How to Begin the From The Ground Up Quest
To start this quest, you have to start the Hylian Homeowner Side Quest and progress through that quest until Hudson departs.
How to Complete the From the Ground Up Quest
Hudson went to the Akkala Region. Go to Dah Hesho Shrine and look north to see a plateau in a lake. Float onto that plateau to find Hudson.
Hudson will request various things as you progress through this quest. Hudson's requests are listed below.

| A Goron whose name ends with -son | In the Eldin Region, go to the Southern Mine at night. The Southern Mine is northwest of Eldin Tower and south of Goron City (read the Reach Goron City page for directions). Talk to Greyson the Goron at night and he will go to Tarrey Town. |
| 20 Wood | Rito Stable near Akh Va'Quot Shrine is a good place to find bundles of wood. Use an axe to cut down trees there, and use an axe on the fallen logs to turn them into wood. |
| A Gerudo whose name ends with -son | Go to Kara Kara Bazaar in Gerudo Desert. It is southwest from Kay Noh Shrine. Rhondson can be found near the stone building. |

| Find a Zora | Read the Reach Zora's Domain page for directions to Zora's Domain. Kapson is near the pool behind the steps that lead up to the throne room. |
| Talk to Bolson | After Kapson goes to Tarrey Town, talk to Hudson, then talk to Bolson. He and Karson will go to Tarrey Town. |
| Talk to Hudson | After Bolson and Karson leave Hateno Village, talk to Hudson to start the wedding. |
From the Ground Up Quest Rewards
After the wedding, talk to Hudson to receive three Diamonds. If you want Bolson and Karson to go back to sitting in front of your house in Hateno Village, talk to Bolson. Also, Tarrey Town has several shops where you can buy things that you can't get anywhere else. Granté can be found on the balcony of one of the houses, and you can buy rare equipment from him that you may have sold or lost, such as the Expansion Pass "EX" armor sets and the Hylian Shield.
