What You Need
Each player needs a Nintendo Switch. For faraway trades, both players need an Internet connection.
In-Game Requirements
Before you can trade from Pokémon Legends: Arceus to Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you need to start Mission 5: A Request from Mai.
How to Trade
Talk to Simona, who is between Galaxy Hall and the Training Grounds in Jubilife Village. Choose the option "I want to trade Pokémon", then choose whether you want to trade with someone nearby or someone far away.
Trading Steps
After you choose whether to trade with someone nearby or someone far away, you will be asked to enter an 8-digit code. The person that you want to trade with must enter the same 8-digit code.
After you connect with the other player, select the pokémon that you want to trade, then choose "Offer up". After the other player selects the pokémon that they want to trade, you can choose "Trade it" to trade your pokémon.
