This quest is available if you have completed the quest Full Steam Ahead.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Minfilia in Amh Araeng to begin the quest. If you left the area, talk to the Apprentice Engineer in Twine to return to where Minfilia is.

Survey the Designated Destination

Go southeast and then south through the archway. Check on the sparkling Destination to proceed. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Search for Minfilia

Go to the orange circle on the map and check on Minfilia to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Search for Thancred

Go north through the archway, then go northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go west through the tunnel that you encounter on the way, then continue going northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Thancred to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Ryne to accept the next quest: A Fresh Start. There will be a cutscene.
